A.J. — AKA: Lionel Hutz
A.J. (AKA: Lionel Hutz ) is not a meteorologist (though he’s taken enough courses to qualify as one). In his real life he is just your regular angry attorney, and a huge weather fan–especially when it pertains to snow and snow quality. Ever since he predicted the March 1993 Super Storm for his dad and won an extra large basket of Roy Rogers’ french fries he’s been watching winter weather….and sometimes even getting it right! Some years later, he found out he liked to ski. From then on, he’s become even more obsessed with winter weather. He lives for it and loves to share his knowledge with others. Using a forecasting approach specifically geared to the higher elevations and a deep analysis of local microclimates, A.J.’s goal is to place skiers in the way of the best storms and on the best snow. You know, storms like this, and this and most recently THIS. This targeted approach has garnered him national renown and he has been labeled an “oracle of powder” by ESPN Action Sports. If you followed him before you know what to expect. If you are new, check out some samples of what he did last year in the weather archive section. If there’s something “brewing” you can be sure he’ll be talking about here on FamousInternetSkiers.com. Click here to follow Lionel on Twitter, and get informed when a new post is up, as well as up to the second info on storm formation and snowfall! |
