SPAM #12: New Year’s Schuss
New year, new FIS SPAM! This week’s installment is the result of a walk up high in which we came away with a lesson learned: The line is not ready. We tried to cash in on our Last Chance, but as the experience goes into the history books as a day in which no one got hurt, there’s not too much else to say about this, except “this one isn’t ready yet.” Happy New Year.

Last Chance…
…To git sum for a couple of days on the East Coast. It’s unclear exactly what the weather has in store this weekend, but it surely isn’t any skier’s dream forecast. But there’s nothing any of us can do about it. So rather than complaining, go out and find the snow you want while you still can (PS here’s the tools you need for that task). Here’s a few simple pictures just looking down lines. Your job is to envision the schuss, and then go out and make it happen. It’s in your hands (along with your ski poles) now…

100 Powder Runs
I love powder snow
I ski it all the time
I ski it before breakfast
and I ski it after lunch
If I had 100 powder runs
I’d ski them all at once
What at storm! ULLR unleashed his love across the entirety of Northern Utah. Bing Bang Boom, he sure knew what he was doing this time around. As L_H forecasted, we were graced with cold 4% smoke. We couldn’t be happier if we we’re John Denver singing on skis. Stay tuned for more where this came from.
