While some people have pulled out the kayak, dusted off the mountain bike, or pulled out the golf clubs, the FIS crew has been hard at work harvesting corn and the much more elusive April crop: powder. We were forced to endure mild sunny days and mild blizzards up on the mountain in search of the gnar. In this video you will see it all. There is pow skiing, corn skiing, storm skiing, but as a special bonus you will also hear from Greg who shares his insights on what it is really like being a Famous Internet Skier. After that you will even learn how to fix a torn out binding with a chainsaw file, a hammer, and some bolts from your bumper. Enjoy!
If you want to read all the gory details behind the lines in this film check out the written trip report here.

wrote on April 25th, 2010 at 7:37 pmI showed this video to my three-year old, Neve (Italian for snow).
She said three things:
“Tell him (Allen) to watch out for the rocks!”
“Daddy do you wish you could do that?”
“I want to be in that picture!”
Out of the mouths of babes…
…nice work all year FIS.

It’s too bad MeatHeads had to post theirs up on TGR. I recall there being a piff earlier in the season about Greg posting some spots, and how FIS was spot naming. I’d go as far as saying STE and MH are practically giving instructions to the sweet spot on Manny in that video. I’d link it but I don’t wanna support it.

wrote on April 27th, 2010 at 6:12 pmthanks for the heads up Anon… hadn’t seen it till now. Yeah the communications/social media guru there, Something-Rogge, said we were a bunch of “herbs posting pics of sacred zones” or something like that. Turned out to be a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black, and the guys in charge at MH corrected the situation really quick. So it wasn’t really the MH it was just one dude thinking he was being funny. Anyway, that’s just water under the bridge.
But holy cow… that vid on TGR is basically a treasure map if you want to ski flat lines! SHHHH!!! ;)

wrote on October 12th, 2010 at 11:50 pmglad you liked it barb! wonder if you could tell us if we’re influencing each other toward “deviant behavior” or if this is prosocial?
Sorry for the snoop…. ;) Hope you don’t mind. In any case welcome to FIS! I hope you enjoy reading it!
