Ahhh… First chair at your local ski hill.the moose that schussed No matter what the weather has been–good or bad–you can be sure the groomers made something fun for you to zoom down, and you can be guaranteed of solitude as you schuss the pistes. But wait… what’s this… someone else is here too?

I guess you can only be guaranteed of solitude so long as the local moose isn’t looking to get some early morning turns in as well. Sadly for us, that wasn’t the case:

    Great shots! We saw a big moose Thursday night at Bolton. Wonder if it’s he same one? Maybe she’s just hittin all the groomers in the area!

    i can’t help but laugh every time i see a moose. they’re so ridiculous looking!
    and g, how did you know it was a female, did you get a look at it’s secret stash as you were getting snaked?

      thanks for checking in SteveD! How can you tell out of curiosity? I’ve had folks tell me this was clearly male and clearly female. I’m just going by what people say. It’s all greek to me. looking for more insight…

    I was at Stowe on Sunday, but didn’t see any. Just once, I’d love to see a moose while skiing. I’ve seen plenty, but never while on the slopes. Lucky you, and nice shots. Thanks for sharing.
