A Little Ditty
Like we’ve been trained to do, we set out to find what the early stages of Gamma had brought us. It was sure to be something good. Breaking a skinner to the top of the Powder Park, Colby and Allison set out to do what they do best, SKI.
Colby, not out of character in the slightest, was the first one awake and ready to test out the new snow. He gave it a quick judo chop as a test (it’s the new ski cut).
He surely expected it to get into his face, and it’s a good thing, because it did.
Allison not one to be left out of forest of hardwood trees full of pow, dropped in and joined the early morning party. She started a few hundred vert in front of me and…
… couldn’t help but ski right on by, giggling and rejoicing…
…that the fresh snow was finally here and filling every nook of the Wasatch.
It was snowing harder then ever after our first day of rooting around in the Aspens. If it was that deep there, we decided that we’d better head to the end of the canyon and see what the high elevation Evergreens had in store for us.
