very weak postings this year. i know weather did not cooperate, but input into website, especially forward looking weather, was almost nonexistant.
if you wan’t us to tune in, u must give some content
Seriously? I guess maybe you could do an analysis, and find that the volume has been down, but I think the quality has been way up… Lionel has been all over every major event, and hasn’t spammed you out with irrelevant weather posts when there has been nothing to post about. If you want hyperbole and conjecture based on intuition about the weather at 300 hours… there’s plenty of that on the internet… for the rest of us, there’s FIS Weather
For sheer stoke, see here, here or here for plenty of pickinz’s
@rick/nyc. That post says it all. Burning up at record speed. We’re smashing record highs in Ottawa by over 10c from the previous record. (It was 25c yesterday). Overnight lows for this week are close to the previous record Highs for this week. Where are the anti-depressants if snow or maple syrup is your thing?
Lionel’s job is about snow…not golf and sailing weather.
To be honest, I was more concerned about the lack of a 2012 FIS calendar than I was about the lack of posts.

Well, for most of the month of March, there hasn’t been a need for weather updates, unless Lionel & Co want to start posting the # of record highs we’ve been shattering.
GFS keeps making noise about a very-late March storm, but at this point, I’d need to see several models go that way within 3-4 days of the event.
Wihtout the calendar, Mother Nature has lost it’s ways.

weak postings? are you kidding – LH knocks it out of the park too often for that kind of slander. I can’t even count the number of times I went where and when he said to be and found the goods and more.
